The Sinking Ship

The Sinking Ship

Abandon the sinking ship,
Unman those oars,
Look up to the sky, swim to the shores.

The path is set,
The way clear,
Hear me, O sailor, salvation is near.

The waves never waver,
And the storm ceaselessly pours,
If you’ve put your hope in the Saviour, paddle once more.

Faith is required,
So faith ye should have,
If you hope to retire, keep swimming towards land.
