The Solitary Snowflake ❄️

The Solitary Snowflake ❄️

In the stillness of the silence, a single snowflake fell

Falling like a flimsy feather without any sound, nor a smell

As I stood by the seashore saying my fond farewell

Smiling at a squawking seagull, scouring the salty swell..

That solitary snowflake was lost amidst my sensational sight

Whilst a calmness of serenity was such a sheer delight

As symmetrical shapes fabulously fluttered in flight

Shimmering sparkles shined so bright..

I ambled along the briny beach, beside that bountiful blue sea

Whilst whispers from the winters weather, mesmerised me

I felt at one with Mother nature, so contented as could be

Coz my heart was overwhelmed as I set my soul free…
