The sound of silence

The sound of silence

Sound is serenaded to musical melodies

Like that lull of the ocean and the rip roaring from salty seas

Wonderfully whistling on the breath of a blowing breeze

Bustling honey bees busily bumbling through those rustling trees

Regular rhythm on the banging beat of a drum

That stillness of silence is but a hush of a hum

Everything around us has a substance of sound

Just study things carefully and a noise will be found

There is really no such thing as the sweet silence of sound

Making musical melodies is joyous abound

Even our atmospheric air all around

Will waft in a whisper or pelt down the ground

We look, listen and learn brand new sounds every day

With words that are spoken and the things that we say

Lovely languages serenaded and sung

Singing sweet symphonies rolled off one’s tongue

And we all take for granted the sounds that we hear

Alas Ignoring the natural pleasures so dear

But if we take the trouble to sharpen our senses

Silent sounds will be heard within all consequences

Our ears are radars so decisive and clear

Sounding out differentials afar and so near…
