The Sower

The Sower

The seed is planted in your field,
Lying dormant it may never yield.
Nurture with diligence; it will unfold,
Bringing new life and riches untold!

More than manna in your daily strife,
Living water brings everlasting life!
Share your harvest of the wheat,
Reaping the banquet is joyous sweet!

Maintain your example of the day,
All the divine will come your way!
Sowing new seeds of Celestial light,
Giving perspective of eternal sight.

We kept the faith and endured all well,
Overcame trials; have this story to tell.
The seed fell on our softened heart,
Flourished forever; after doing our part!

One from the soul and one to sum you up Jim.
For it's good on both fronts and what a soul to view.
Each stanza and line stands out and shines.
A poem of light and all shine brightly.
It reminded my of Fields Of Gold by Sting, for some reason just popped in my head.
Not due to the image but of your words, a reminiscing and yearning to better and more innocent younger days.
Thank you Jim and this was more than good to discover.
Shaun.
