~ THE SPIN ~
{our spirit needs a feed}
As the thinning, rain-soaked pedestrian
Resembles human fragility
So does my impression
Of the dark and light within the soul
Of all humanity
In all its sacred splendor
In all its vehement drudgery
Such is the condition
Such is this momentary
Rendition,
Of,
The spin.....
Spinning webs with new technology
Spinning falsehood with theology
Spinning love songs for the need of "The We"
Spinning faster all the time
Dizzying God's intended reality
Until we see what we want to see
And never, ever, remembering
That it's our spirit's that need a feed
To manifest the very best
In the you and in the me
Wouldn't you agree
It's time to take
A ride,
Deep into,
The spin....

Tony, you are so right here. We need to step back from all the frantic input and just breathe. We are forced to live artificial lives at such a lunatic pace. It is the cause of most depression I'm sure, we all need to be alone with ourselves in nature from time to time( all the time if I had my way) to find ourselves, strip ourselves back and open ourselves up to the magical mystery and beauty of it all and spend time in reality as reality was intended to be, a reality that we have lost( not sure IV explained what I mean very well) ....regardless.....a fabulous write ?

Wow JOHN!!!...... you may have a point there..... although I might be thinking of a more positive spin on the final outcome than you might be inferring here!!.... at least I pray that nature will do what humanity often falls short of...... because nature has a way of protecting its most treasured/prized partnership...... when we include the idea of 'Intelligent Design' into the equation there is truly HOPE for humanity as well as the well being of the planet itself!!.......thanx for your consideration dear poet brother!!......LOVE & ROCKETS!.......T xo. : )
