The Stairs

The Stairs

Helen hadn't walked In ten years becauseΒ  of her
ever IncreasingΒ
Illness
We'd had a bit of disagreement through the pressures of my 24/7 care for her and our lack of sleep
I was upstairs where there IΒ  had a breakdown suddenly broke down In tearsΒ
When Helen shouting from downstairs I'm coming up
For her safety, I shouted stay there but suddenly on the top of the stairs she appeared, still don't how Helen got there she said that she crawled
But the fear In her eyes she'd got up the stairs but now how was she going get down Moral of the story with the best willpower and believe sometimes in life you can go and achieveΒ
but you don't always come home.

Hey JOHNNY!!...... such a difficult situation you have experienced......and with the dyslexia that you are challenged with, I'd say that you're expressing yourself beautifully....... and I pray that from this poetic form of self expression you are able to find some healing and some closure from what can only be described as a VERY traumatic experience!!........ Lots of love dear poet brother!!...... keep writing...... your journey has much more in store for you!!....... hugs n smiles!!.......T xo ❀
