The Star Of Hope

We,all of us, if we are true,have prejudices,
There is a lot to understand, to know,
At best we can say we tolerate,
And that is good, a seed to grow.

We are young yet, ......humanity,
On our journey toward becoming civilized,
It's such a long long road,
Sometimes, sadly we put that goal aside.

Yet we know of love for people,
Our kin, we love and teach,
That bond must be extended, I believe
It could be done through speach.

Language, the tool of communication,
The ability to talk to one another,
It binds us as a nation,
All, as a sister or a brother.

Keep your mother tongue alive and well,
But consider this for all to know,
To converse with all the nations,
Use a second tongue, ... ESPERANTO!
