Poem -

Taurus

There's my sweetie lying on the ground.

I always did like her best when she made no sound.

All is as I suspected dearest,

You look your loveliest upon death.

Bach prelude in C major no.1.

Sweetie, hear how your favourite plays in the morning sun.

It's 9am.

The waltz has begun.

Toast for two.

Coffee for one.

Come on down sweetie.

Its 9am, and there is much to be done.

The scent of you dresses the air.

The bite of spearmint,

The kiss of deep sleep sweat.

You enter. Ah sweetie, how I stare!

Divinity and grace!

You cast a spell on this place.

How splendid you seem to me,

Warming your hands around your morning coffee.

But sweetie I confess, I digress, I must hurry this along.

For its 9am and there is a dance to be done.

Just like you and I,

This symphony cannot stay forever young.

And so I place my hands around your delicate waist.

Staring hard into your beautiful, deceptive face.

Lies in the eyes of the one I love.

A stone heart that I no longer wish to be a part of.

1, 2, 3. 2, 2, 3.

Oh sweetie! How naturally this comes to me.

You're prettier against the wall.

You make me feel so tall.

Sweetie, don't look so scared!

You love me with my hands around your neck.

You gasp for air.

I steal your breath.

Well sweetie, you've stolen from me too.

You stole my trust in you.

And as your eyes turn to water red.

I'm taking it back again.

Now sweetie, you never were a tame one.

And so my admiring eyes turn to slits.

Squinting through my bloody nose and busted jaw.

Your efforts are endearing, yet the record still spins.

1, 2, 3. 2, 2, 3.

I'm coming for you sweetie.

With your mug in hand, smashed to just a shard.

I grab your hair, I pull it hard.

Sweetie, you look most glorious on your knees.

With my fist in your hair,

You're begging me please.

One swift slap and a slice in your cheek.

Your blood runs red,

Like streamers, decorating your flesh, celebrating your end.

A substance so warm and pure.

How ironic that I drew it from such a deceitful whore.

You lie on your side,.

A frail body bathed in the morning light.

"I belong to you" I make you say it.

I love you and you love me too.

Sweetie, our melody is lulling.

I take note to remember you as you are now.

Silent and submissive.

Lying on the ground.

I'll miss the way I turn your skin black and blue,

Sweetie, I'll miss the Β perfect tears that fall from you.

And now as I'm drawing the knife from your chest,

I wish you peace in your eternal rest.

But sweetie you misbehaved.

Holding your hand began to chafe.

Your dishonour tainted my flesh and stained my heart.

You evil deeds pulled our love apart.

"R.I.P Sweetie,

With love from your dearest Sweetheart."

How perfect it sounds with the softening melody.

How delightful it feels with the 1, 2, 3. 2, 2, 3.
