Poem -
The Stench Of Politics
May we dance, this political dance
In morning's light, where bumble bees
As God's creation, dare to waltz
Where Kings and Generals, murderously
Reveal the stench of death, coquettishly
Yes, the dance shall be
As warning bells, awaken the guarded façade
And hatred spills across the lawn
But this ballet
Between you and me, becomes the sawdust
That bloodied lathes have carefully
Sculpted
Into the legs upon which we dance
Oh please, do not ask
"What of morning's dance?"
Remembering well
In morning's light, where God's creation
Did take your life
And dance a waltz
Upon your most deserved
And bloodied
Grave...

People believe that God is going to protect us on the choice we make as a nation...
Keep an eye on what the purchases that increase...
Depending on who wins of course...
When do we stop leaving our future up to someone else and stop asking God to clean up the messes we make?
