The Storm
(This picture is taken by my friend Craig, wrote the poem for the picture and just redid it as I always
seem to do...LOL)
Warm air throughout the day begins to rise admist the clouds
Brewing more within each second, til it releases a few drops to the ground
The Storm at hand has brought about some moving warm air below
A sudden change to cold succeeds to make the wind start to blow
Leaving behind a scent we know as earth, water and trees
Humidity's gone wild, making it much harder to breathe
An illuminating charge creates a spark, we see it as a light form
Travelling through a channel which then creates the light of the storm
A sense of calm throughout the skys, yet seconds later its out for more
The channel disapears and lets you know with a frightening roar
Never think its over because its far from over and still got more
Were surrounded by dark grey clouds, all you can think is it will pour
Clouds are now more threatening, any second you know they'll burst
The pressures creeping higher, its about to show the worst
Clouds are faster and its darker they have no interest to say good bye
building all those droplets, winds now froze them in the sky
Pressures at its peak, there to heavy so now they fall
What is known as hail has dropped, looks like a frozen water ball
Much prettier at a distance, but destruction is all it will know
In the distance all through the sky is every color of the rainbow
We take a picture to remind us of such beauty we all see
But in a flash the moments gone as if it was never meant to be
So we remind ourselves that beauty isnt always as it is
But we take a chance on it because we get a picture just like this.
