Poem -
The Summer Of 63

- To sit in my chair on a beautiful day and look to the faraway hills,Ā where I played as a child running through fields of green on such a day a girl cameĀ
- my way, a smile on her pretty face, we went on to be childhood sweethearts back in that summer of 63
- But as time moved on so did we, the last I heard she had moved away and married a wealthy young man, she now lives in a house overlooking the sea, she lives the life of the rich and famous no place for me to be, but I'm happy for herĀ that she made it in life
- But to this very day I still sit in my chair on a beautiful day and look to faraway hills, where once I played as a childĀ and wonder does she ever thinks of me, as I do her, and of the childhood sweethearts we used to be back in that summer of 63.

Dear Johnny,
Welcome to Cosmo.Ā Ā
So many of us sit on our chairs, reflecting past childhood sweethearts, wondering where they are today, and if they ever think of us too.
My Summer of 63 was a whirlwind dating tour, having just broken up with my steady girlfriend of one and a half years.Ā I probably had 50 dates, and fell in love twice, the second one, coming close to marrying.
I loved this nostalgic work of yours.
Peace and Love,
Larry xxx
