The sun and I
Are making jigsaws
Placing leaves within the
dappled rays that bleed
between the trees, and...
 
What better way to pass an
hour
In summers warming breeze

Whilst pondering...
In gentle thoughts the nature
of a day
Whilst adding yay and nay
and noughts...and...
Subtracting them away

To leave a puzzle burning hot
That sizzles holes
In day
A question that does not add
up
Who taught the shining sun...
To play?
