THE SUN, THE SKY AND THE SEA
The Sun Dips Low

The sun dips low, a fiery kiss,
On waves that dance with amethyst.
The sand, once gold, turns soft and rose,
As twilight's gentle magic flows.
Seagulls cry, their calls descend,
A symphony that knows no end.
The salty breeze, a wispy sigh,
Whispers secrets to the sky.
The ocean vast, a canvas grand,
Streaked with hues of melon sand.
Violet whispers paint the shore,
Where lapping waves forevermore
Retreat and sigh, then rise again,
A lullaby for weary men.
Seashells gleam like scattered pearls,
Treasures gathered by the swirls.
A lone star winks, a diamond bright,
First dancer in the fading light.
The moon, a pearl, begins to climb,
Embracing twilight, soft and sublime.
The beach, a stage where beauty's play,
Transforms from day to starry day.
A hush descends, a peaceful grace,
Twilight's magic on this sacred space.
