The Swallow’s Migration

So sad is the second when the swallow flies away saying thank you Britain but the Sun has ceased it’s summer’s ray . In April they fly thousands of miles from Africa to breed on British lands but by the month of October comes insects are in sparse demands
So September sees the swallows all sitting on a line, then they take off again Africa bound where they know the weather stays fine
Such a symbolistic end of summertime is the swallow’s migration, a bird on the wing flying to survive and not face starvation . Our sensational long-tailed streamers, extremely agile in flight, stocking up on insects through the day and roosting all the night . I love to see these little birds with long blue-black wings with their characteristic tails such perfect pretty things

Hi Jillian!
Birds are awesome, aren't they? Most people call me a bird brain, and I reply 'thank you' because I like birds, and then they laugh at me, and throw rocks at me. It's great.
Wonderful poem, my friend!
Your friend,
Matthew.
Aww I was watching Swallows on tv tonight & inspired me of course ?❤️?
You are so easily inspired, aren't you?
What happens when you go potty? LOL!! Kidding! Sorry.
You're great! Keep writing.
I wrote something, but it's so horrible that when I went to post it, the letters fell from the page, and reigned down upon the floor. It was sad...the janitor even refused to clean it up. I'll try posting it again. Pretend you like it, OK?
Thanks!
Matthew.
