Poem -

the thing about screaming

What struck me most
you know, after you'd died
well, there was nowhere
to scream and
I needed to scream

so I'd go for a drive
Scream like fuck in the car
Turns out that was dangerous
I never got far so

I settled for screaming
on a high mountain path
But here's the damn thing
I could still hear god laugh

These days I scream
In my head all day long
don't bother with people
Cos they think I've 'gone' wrong

and here's one more thing
all the screaming don't work
cos it don't bring you back
And my head fucking hurts

as well,

M ~

You may be surprised to know others totally understand, I once went to the top of a hill and I too screamed. 🌹

This is pretty sad, Marion. But sometimes it’s the only thing left to do, isn’t it?!

Being Me

ohhhh I know this feeling. I did it a couple of weeks ago, actually. And I wasn't on my own at the time, either.

Your writing always pulls me back to Cosmo xx
