the three sisters

that it called so very
strongly
from the pages of a much
loved book
and books...
when so a'truly loved
might conjure times from
air
and even then,
when i was never there
i trod in every snowy glen
roamed the wynds on high
up peaks
saw eagles, stagsΒ
felt all its steep
tasted melt from fierce falls
saw shadows roll its restless
clouds
bathed naked lochs of fallen
skies
Ioved every inch
in my mind's eye
and did you ever love me too
sing me home to sit with you
now sisters are we, one andΒ three
each here in truth's reality
