The Titanic

The Titanic

In between the bowels of that ancient shipwreck
Lies ladies of finery who stroll each furnished deck
Arm-in-arm with loverā€™s and men of great wealth immaculately dressed with no concerns of poor health
Their laughs can be heard in the creaks and the groans with tinkling of ivories from the grand pianoā€™s tuneful tones

Diverā€™s despair at the happiness that was lost from this vessels demise as it sank at all cost
Crashing into an iceberg two and a half hours had passed with salt water pouring into her seams she toppled over at last
Down into the depths of the briney blue sea as each man for himself tried to abandon safely
Alas only 705 individuals lived to tell this sad tale
1,500 poor people were lost from that splendorous sail

Oceanic explorers still deep dive today midst her rotten rust of marinetime decay
And there are those that have told tales of witnessing granduer ghosts
with uniformed crew looking out from their posts
Now some say these are but just the myths of fantasy
Yet 1,500 sorrowful sea angels will be lost desperately
