The Truth
Our love was created
by our mutual sadness.
We bonded over ourΒ desire
for vodka and smokes,
And we loved each other
because we didn't have anyone else
to love.
We loved each other
because who we had really wanted,
didn't want us.
And though you had sworn you fell in love with me,
That I never love you as much,
ItΒ turns out,Β I really did,
But you really didn't.
