" THE TWINKLING "
In the morning light, I spied wicked sprites
In the twinkling of an eye
A grayish mist, told of their twist
An attempt, to help the ominous arise
So that they may abide, with evil wings applied
A mist most falsely contrived,
But as I spied, with Godly eyes
They sought then, to hide, deep inside
The Twinkling....
The Twinkling,
Has winged hosts, who fly coast to coast
Forever gathering,
Some good some bad, flitting to and fro
Winging, to judgment bring
Have you not seen, in morning's dew or glow
The droplets of spectrum on leaves?
Some unholy sprites are these, battling the Godly show
But every morn, 'tis the heavenly light
That succeeds....
The grayish mist aways, and happy sprites do play
The music that morning brings
This then,
Is the instantaneous thing
That each morning brings,
Upon the lovely wings of sprites
And known to us all,
As the blink of an eye,
Within,
The Twinkling...

Hi Dear Tony,
Twinkle, twinkle little star
You've sent evil sprites from up afar
They look so innocent, and nice to touch
But reality warns, to fear them much
For some are good, but most are bad
Some bring love, but most bring sad
So, twinkle, twinkle
But we're wise to you
And your wiley ways
We will all eschew.
As usual, your hidden innuendos keep me questing for correct interpretation.
As usual, another wonderful composition from the great Tony Taylor.
