~ THE UNIVERSAL SOUP ~

There are times,
when moving through the crowd,
you can feel the people
breathing,
as though they're one
great organism,
placed here
to consume the world's
offerings.
To replenish the world
with its bones
and viscera,
to become
oh, to become
the inexplicable.
Unaware
of its power of consumption
it eats,
steadily.
Honing
its titanic taste buds,
and cleansing
dear Mother Earth
over,
and over again.
Unaware
of the symbiotic
ballet
playing out
over,
many millions
of years.
This great organism
of humanity,
remains
but a puppet
to intelligence,
patiently waiting
out there,
in the Universal
Soup,
of unimaginable
Galaxies...

Absolutely love that term, not sure what it is about it, I reckon it gives a vibe pointlessness or messiness like everything is out of our control. Also took me ages to actually realise you were typing organism and not something else... strange... didn't think I had a lewd mind... Kind regards. TFOTS

Hi Tony,
Here is a piece of "Ode To The Earth (one)" that I've translated into Chinese, formally published. Hope it's of interest.
Scroll down the page on
to read the English poem. Of course you're very welcome to read Chinese which is even more exciting I can assure you, as my translation is more passionate! Cheers, the good science guy, ha ha.
