Poem -

the velvet rope that suits you

the velvet rope that suits you

I’ve got the velvet rope that suits you
but you choose to sever ties.
I'm a hurricane and you’re -
soundproof.
and that’d be funny
if it wasn’t
true.

we're elongated pearls
with a short fuse.
barking dervish
into ponds
we can't
stand.
