The Visitors

The Visitors

"Visitors"

Depression came to visit me,
The door I opened up to see,
Which then he sat and stayed a while,
My bed I laid to hear his guile.

His friend showed up to join the fun,
Anxiety, the cunning one,
Who told me just to give up hope,
To which I panicked, sobbed and moped.

Just when I could take no more,
I earnestly cried out to the Lord,
Which He then came and kicked them out,
With power of one mighty shout.

God warned me to watch and pray,
To not let Satan in to play,
But rather let my true friends in,
Who's Peace, Joy, Love and Faith within.

Hello Denise...

We are to be careful who we keep company with...

My Dogs are great for that...

If they don't like someone and wants to bite them, that's a really good sign for me...

Saves a lot of time and trouble...

Great write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...
