The Warrior Code

My fist is on the table,
my mouth is to the floor, 
I'm done with all my battles, 
and now I'm ready for war; 

For I am not just one voice now,
that is out there alone, 
for I have heard your dreams, 
they have echoed my own;

A family home full of laughter, 
and a world filled with peace, 
where sorrows are no more, 
because love found a way to increase;

Through a warm heart to come too,
And a strong hand to hold,
Will help us become the legends in story books,
that our ancestors bestowed;

For hope keeps on rising, 
from somewhere deep within, 
where love can do impossible things, 
and that's how we can win;

A warrior through and through
that is who you are
you'll fight back,
you'll dream dreams,
you will even wish on a distant star;

Remember for every dream,
that is stolen away from you,
another will grow in its place,
better than the one you knew;

So yes, you will stand again,
And yes you will be strong,
for I know that you still have love in your heart
and with that you can't go wrong.
