Poem -

The Waves

The wind blows,
Like the winds of my soul.
The waves crash,
Like my spirits on a rainy day.
To many days,
Spent in the middle of an ocean.
Surrounded by nothing but waves,
Nothing but water,
Nothing but lost hope.
I keep trying
To live,
To breathe,
To hope.
No one will find me, but they do.
I can’t sit without rocking,
I can’t hear anything but the waves,
The waves that shook up my life,
My heart,
My future.
Everything is balanced
on the waves, that are bound to come crashing down.
