The wintery waft 💨

The wintery waft 💨

The wind blew my sails forwards and aft

This bamboozled my boat in the multidirectional draft

With a chill thru my bones from the wintery waft

And I twisted and turned in my catamaran craft

So I clambered out of my cabin and struggled down to the hold

As I listened to my crewmen crying out consequences of old

And I shuddered to think of those tall tales that they told.

But I put a brave face on things and acted bold

I mean, can you just imagine that state of affairs?

When a westerly wind went berserk unawares

And tossed the Captain and
all of his six crew overboard in despairs

As I kneel down to the good Lord above saying my prayers…🙏
