THE WORLD TODAY

 
What is happening to the world today ?
Bombers and killers are having their say
This world is loving each other less and less
When will this hatred end is anybody's guess
 
When I was young I was told right from wrong 
To love one another and to get along 
The world today however is full of hate
I want peace to return again and I cannot wait 
 
Peace is the answer to all our prayers 
In this world where everybody fights and nobody cares 
I hope I am not dreaming by wanting peace 
All I want is killings and bombings to cease
