Poem -

THE WORST POEM EVER ( Greg's challenge...no doubt about it...IV won?)...bring it on Matthew, Jill, Greg and anyone else who thinks they can beat this!??

Oh love....
Shall i compare thee
to a winter spoon
That ate the golden porridge
In the sunlight
Of the biggest ball
Of glowing moon
When I kissed you upon
The chair of my life

And shall we dip and
Dive to hurry with the leaves
In the snow
That fell in bundles
Down from the trees and covered us
up
.....and up...

and shall I write a fondly page of writing
On the cold you caught
The way you sneezed was a delight
and
My heart soared many miles up
like a pickled onion
That gazes like a coming beacon
In flight at the sight
and we are in love
like the highest of heavens
Would be like
On a cold night in summers
Fun.....

The end!

The poem reads like a satire.

Favorite lines: (The intro is perfect!!!)

Oh love....
Shall i compare thee
to a winter spoon

I think you deserve 3 stars for this, because it was so humorous. I found myself laughing out loud at the first few lines. I don't think you'll win for the worst poem. This has potential. Keep going with it. Incorporate additional authors to poke fun at poetic devices and styles. I say, keep working on this. Thanks for adding humor into your poem. Humor sells! Do you ever read, A Lonely Journey's poetry? He is the funniest person I think I've ever "virtually" met. His poetry is awesome, his replies are most humorous. Okay, have a great Monday.

I would add a different poem if you want to win the worst poem contest!

Lonely journey is my very good Cosmo friend Katina ...he inspired this sillyness back last year with a comment about socks which then became my first challenge which we wrote poems about, then Jill chose the moon which we all wrote poems about, then lonely chose mimes which we all wrote about and now Greg has chosen this ( the worst poem ever')  lol. Matthew or ( a lonely journey )also writes very beautiful heartfelt wistful poetry...check it out, thankyou for joining us in the fun ??

A Lonely Journey

Marionette!
That's gorgeous! It reminds me of my first love...with some ferns! We sneezed just like that, until we purchased some Nasonex. And the biggest ball!! Oh, the biggest ball.
Brilliant, my friend!! I think you've got so much potential in the area of worstness. I have voted for you, but unfortunately incurred a hanging chad(U.S.joke regarding the election of George Bush), and my vote didn't count.
Wonderful!!! Or at least derful.
You rule!!!

Matthew.

You do so make me laugh...you header ( Welsh for nutter) ?
i keep having to write my comments in triplicate because I keep replying to the wrong people with the wrong comments! This though is the right comment to the right person and there is also an identical comment underneath ?
