" Is There Nothing I Can Do? "

In my limited understanding
My rose-colored point of view
The hole in my heart demanding
Completion, by the touch of you
Is there nothing I can do?
Your residence, an ocean apart
Your visitation an honoring tribute
To the Love you create in my heart
Your essence my perfect milieu
Is there nothing I can do?
I often revisit our time together
Enchantedly bathing in your eyes sweet blue
Lost in the rhythm of your forever
Where I'd willingly give my life for you
Is there nothing I can do?
Each morning I awaken still dreaming
Dressed and dancing we two
A mystical sleep still gleaming
The veil over my eyes crazily confusing
Is there nothing I can do?
As the days tumble past without you
Your presence in me grows clearer
Strengthening the fibers of our Xanadu
And my prayers of having you nearer
Are all my tears can do......

Hey Tony, this is a really amazing love song brother, I'm not a musician by any stretch of the imagination, but was hearing music and the words were being sung; that hasn't happened forever while reading a poem; your paragraphs and repeated lines are constructed like the Golden Gate Bridge across a blue eyed ocean, (high five) gonna have another listen this is GOOD, bro...hey remember Siskel and Ebert? (the legendary film critics)...two thumbs up...cheers... These lines memorize
