THESE DAYS INDOORS ARE INCREDIBLY LONG

The bedroom clock still ticks and tocks
Feet still welcome a pair of socks
Ice cream is always cold to the tongue
These days indoors are incredibly long

One has to work to pay for the bills
Gloves keep out the icy winter chills
Sometimes I'm right and others I'm wrong
These days indoors are incredibly long

I will always love you whatever I do
Sunny days are lovely with skies so blue
There is nothing better than a lovely song
These days indoors are incredibly long
