These Memories Imprison Me

These Memories Imprison Me

The memories once so clear Begin to fade and Are replaced with tears Never wanting to forget Holding on so tight Never wanting to let go of it Life flies by so fast Making it impossible to Hold on to the past Letting go is so hard to grasp Living underneath it all Caught up in the trap Set free from all these once Cherished memories As time ticks on Leaving room For all that stands in front of me
