Poem -

These Shoes Ain't Fit For Walking.

Walking along in my worn out shoes.
Feeling down I've got a touch of the blues.
The wife walks behind me as drunk as a lord.
So i don't lose her I've got our wrists tied together with a long piece of strong cord.
Sun above us shining real hot.
Road ahead empty and covered in melting black tarmac and flat.
I am walking along whistling a bluesy tune.
I look at the sun and figure out the time must be getting on noon.
My wife behind me is talking drunk shit.
Professional help for her i must get.
Destination is just straight ahead.
My blue feeling wishes i was stone cold dead.
Walking along in my worn out shoes.
With a tired head that's filled with problematic issues.
