Poem -

these wall's.

Will new love get through,
these wall's I've built around me?

This barrier,
fire proof blanket ,
Hiding underneath,
The burns of my past love,
run so deep,
Burnt to the bone,
To the core of me,

Will new love get through?

The wall's I've built around me,
Toughest stone ,
This bullet proof vest,
This metal heart shattered chest,
Bullets still remaining,
At rest,

Will new love get through?

The wall's I've built around me,
If it does will i get out?
The chains of heavy-hearted hate still bound me,

Will new love get though?

Will it even find me?
I can't see it,
The flashes' of horrors still blind me,

If it does will i feel it?

Will i even know its you?

Its been so long now,
How will i know if its TRUE?

Ryk John Miller...

Wow, Nardine. :o.
The inner walls that we sometimes build,
can take from days to years,
at times with tears,
to accept and attempt,
dismantlization.

Self-trust,
Self-faith,
Strengthening,
Visage'd face.

Over time shall convert,
A torn down wall into a bridge,
To escape,
The past enforced self-containment.

(Half way through writing that during continued interuption, I noticed the length of time ago that you had posted it. :o oops. Just the same, I do hope all has improved greatly. :)

Warmth, respect.
