Theusus and Helen of Troy

Syoinkismis said Theusus

All his folksĀ

Gathered around!Ā

United was his folks:

Attica under Athens,

Ogres and monsters subdued.

Helen of Troy

Won't offspring bear

For Theusus!

The achiever of syoinkismis.

He gathered together the Athenians

Yet he lost: the beauty

Of Troy. Ā First to Menelous then

To Paris.

Methomorphies he desired

The mighty king.

In Paris's flesh.

To win his Helen back.

Alas the Trojan War is in flames.

Nascent legend of Trojan War spreading through millenniums.

From tongue to tongue.
