They Can Never Be Replaced
Helplessly I watch
As souls unfetter
And ascend the stairways
Much deserving of something better.
The heart has had
It's fair share of beatings,
But this one surely hurts
From deep within
Another relatable innocent soul.
If I was caught back to wall
In what I thought was comfortably safe
Could I say my prayers accept my fate,
And tell my maker im ready to go.
Staring into the eyes
Of the pictures,
The soon to be forgotten.
I believe these devil's tools burn in hell
Haunted by these angel's faces
And their ashes fade out of existence from being rotten.
It does no justice
In resurrection
To point a fingered blame
Pick a spot on a map
Then fire when in aim.
I fear
The living like the dead
Is learning nothing upon this course
For everyday to year
Matters are only getting worse,
And peace is now more a subtance
Taken to make us better feel;
Right and wrong
A misconstrued concept
Only good hearted can decipher what is real.
As I turn away
From all the bad that's plagued this place,
I search for assurance
To be safe,
Because of the victims....
My loved ones..Myself....
I....They....can never be replaced.

Hi Devon I have been under a rock I guess . I was reading what happened to those poor people in cal . My heart goes out to them and your write certainly helps after I read what happened after that senseless shooting . That is true they can never be replaced but them will always be remembered and heaven welcomed them in with open arms . Well done all stars hrl
