They can't prove it

They can't say this isn't love
They can't prove that it isn't true
They can try all they want
But at the end of the day it's just me and you
They can say we are way too young
They can give us their disapproving stares
They can try to break us down
But our love will overcome the hateful glares
They can't see what's deep inside
They just see the kids at heart
All we want is to be in peace
Yet they try to tear us apart
They can't prove that our love won't last
They can't prove that it isn't real
They will try that's for sure
But only we know how we truly feel

I liked the use of repetition of 'they' on the starting lines of your stanzas, emphasising the 'them' and 'us' feel to your poem. A strong message of true 'young' love Angelica, nice write! A vote from me :)
