Poem -

But They Don't Know Me

But they don't know me.
they don't know  us.
but we know them
we want to be them.
see what they see.
be seen the way they're seen.

But they don't know me.
They don't know  us.
But we know them.
we know that they have it easy.
life is a journy, they have a map. a car.
we're trudging along on foot.
swollen.
bleeding.
crying,

But they don't know me
they don't know us.
But we know them.
we know how we appear to them.
we, the loners, the minority, the outcasts.
we, the nerds, the geeks, the fattys, the losers

But they don't KNOW me.
They don't KNOW us
But we know them.
And she sees us.
She, destiny, faith, life.
She sees doctors, scholars, scientist.
Happiness.

And She knows me.
And She knows us.
Only we, dont know ourselves.
.
yet.
