Thief in the night
Dear depression:
I want to tell you how much pain you have caused
You made it feel like my life was on pause
You came to me like a thief in the night
I tried to hold on for the fight
You caused me to slip away from my family and friends
You kept guiding me to dead ends You had me blind folded through this road
No matter how many times I wanted to explode
I never felt so alone
I wanted to scream, I WANT TO GO HOME
I hated you through this entire journey
Which almost put me on a gurney You took my happiness away from heart
You continued to make everything fall apart
I cried to God, DONT LET ME GO That is the first time I didnt feel alone
There was a new feeling I had inside God knows that I cried
To you I say, YOUR NOT IN CONTROL NO MORE!
This was the beginning to my war
I didnt understand at the time
That I was going have to start that climb
It felt impossible oh yes it did
I said, Your not going to hurt me anymore, this I forbid
This journey of mine almost took my life
There were many times I grabbed the knife
But today I am so grateful and proud to say
I get to live another day

Wow so powerful friend, I have been there so many times and that blade has put scars upon my wrist. I thought I couldn't make it, but I did, I am always here if you need a ear to listen. Thank you so much. Yes this has been a rough road for me, but happy I am overcoming some of these demons that have been with me for a while. God has alot to do with it and know this will be a journey I will have to face forever. Glad you liked the poem, and thank you for lending a open ear. ?
I LOVE IT AND I CONNECT WITH WHAT YOU FEEL , YOU KNOW WHAT MAKES LIFE AWESOME , GOD AND THE WAR THAT IS COMING AND I WANT YOU TO LISTEN TO IMPENDING DOOM BAND AND DISSIMULATOR , THEY KEEP YOU A WARRIOR OF GOD AGAINST EVIL AND THEY SPEAK THE TRUTH , AS WELL AS REVELATIONS , WE ARE BEING ATTACKED EVERY MOMENT THE DEVIL GETS A CHANCE; THAT WE LATER START TO FEAR JOY AND PEACE AND START TO THINK OF SUICIDE AND THAT IS WHAT HE WANTS , FINDING YOURSELF AND BEATING ALL ODDS, THAT IS WHAT MAKE OUR LIVES WORTH LIVING. WE NEED TO BE WARRIORS AND NEVER BE DEFEATED , GOD LOVES YOU AND I SEE YOU , YOU CAN BE SOMEONE'S HERO , YOU CAN BE ANYTHING YOU WANT , JUST DON'T LET HUMANS OR LIFE TAKE YOUR SPIRIT FROM YOU :)
