Poem -

Thieving Angels

In my youth I met my sweetheart
I stole her heart and put it with my own
I loved it, nursed it and protected it
Till one day those thieving angels
Took her heart away

Now Im left with memories, locked within my head
Where those thieving angels cannot tread
In bed at night in vivid dreams, she comes to me
In the morning I awake she left an other memory
Locked within my head
Where those thieving angels cannot tread

I know one day those thieving angels
Will come to steal my heart
But I do not worry
Because those thieving angels
Will place it with my sweetheart.
