Poem -

THINGS COULD ALWAYS BE WORSE

THINGS COULD ALWAYS BE WORSE

I listen a little bit but don't take in the tune
The words written on the page may have been written on the moon
I see you in front of me but don't know who you are
The five minute walk I have is really too far

Sport on the TV and I don't worry who wins
Eating and drinking to me are the most deadly sins
Most people would think twenty eight degrees to be hot
For me however I don't give a hoot or jot

So when you have time to study this written verse
Think to yourself things could always be worse
