Thought Bubble

The hardest thing to do is take oneself seriously

Thought Bubble

What if I listened to my fans
and turned things upside down

Those who say I'm a noble elephant
and not a squeeky clown

What if I took the positive comments
and let them enter in

And took my thoughts of worthlessness
and threw them in the bin

What if I accepted that there is good with me
And listened to the voice of love that's promised victory

If I were to walk by faith ahead
rather than failures below

Perhaps some better days ahead might grow from what I sow

I'd like to see days of hope
Suppose I followed my curiosity

Would that turn things around
Would it write a different story?
