The tantalizing idiosyncrasies of You have me in a daze. I cannot ignore them, so I continue to be drawn to you, like a moth to a flame.
Fearing my fate, I continue to ignore the fact that the destruction of my heart is a definite possibility. The farther you pull away, the more I want to pull you close. Close enough to hear you breathe, listen to your heartbeat, feel the warmth of your skin, and revel in your scent.
When I get a glimpse of your eyes, I see stars, the moon, the universe, your soul, stare back at me. I wish it weren't so. For life would be easier without this; The feeling of being overcome with emotion, as heavy as heaven itself.
