THREE FEATHERS

A feather climbs the air for you
On silken wings of colour blue
Through days and nights it travels far
To reach your dimmed and weary star
It brings to you a wish for peace
For inner struggle to decease
As pure as snow and light as air
This feather brings to you my care

A feather floats upon the seas
Drifting pink in salty breeze
Crashing waves aid fast its way
To bring to you a wish this day
A wish that you might find a light
To guide you through your troubled plight
To lay down sword and shield and fight
That arms of love may hug you tight

A feather mounts an eagle bird
Its pallette emerald green
Brilliant hues in boldest flight
It finds you in your deepest fright
It spies you in the bustling crowd
To fall on shoulders broken bowed 
It whispers magic to your heart
To stay awhile and play your part

For in a world of things unseen
A greying world of tarnished sheen
​Hopes and dreams may still come true
