THREE STARS

Three stars in the sky were called I love and you
Believe what I write for this story is perfectly true
I and you were brightest with love not far behind
Tonight saw them in London wonderfully aligned

All three spoke to me could hear what they say
Another city tomorrow would soon be on the way
Love was twinkling directly now above my head
I and you were sleepy were getting ready for bed

These three stars guided me home tonight
Woke this morning disappeared from sight
Thank you stars for being there just for me
