Thunder, Lightening and Storm

Three black cats live in the silage shed
Plenty of rats running riot in this stead
These barbarians are ferociously feral
They prowl their prey with pernicious peril
As black as coal with green slit eyes
to brainwash, bewitch and hypnotize
Farmer Fred knows they dwell here
his farmhouse is very near
So rats and mice, moles and voles
are constantly killed under cats controls
There is no vermin in farmer Fred’s abode
tho his house is on a riverside road
But in the bleakness with blackened light
three black bobcats safeguard their site
All through the night they can be heard
hissing and meowing it sounds absurd
yet the farmer’s wife loves her brutal beasts
that forage all night and day frisking feasts
She watches them outside the shed on a sunny day
rollicking and a’romping in sportful play
So the three black cats have a home for life
ridding rodents and unwanted pests for the farmer’s wife
As happy as the day is long
Bustling about and never ever getting wrong
Jess the farmer’s wife knows each cat by sight coz she called them after a farmer’s fight
Thunder, Lightening and Storm were the names she picked and ever since they appeared those names have sticked
