Thy will

Thy will

I want to see,
but, a blind I am;
I want to sing,
but, a dumb I am;
I want to hear,
but, a deaf I am;
Give me sight Oh Lord
that I see you in others;
Make me hear
that I hear thy voice;
Untie my tongue
that I sing thy glory;
Even without these
I see you, I hear you,
I talk to you,
but human psychology does yearn for tangibility!
Forgive me for my wishes
if they are unacceptable
but if you be me for a while,
perhaps things may change!
