Poem -

‘TICK………….TOCK!!’

‘TICK………….TOCK!!’

Tarnished and somewhat tiresome from that tapestry of time

As the daylight fades away, whilst I reason my rhyme

And I sigh at the six fifteen, familiar quarterly chime

Huh my life is passing me by in but paragons of paradigm

“PLEASE SLOW DOWN” those hurried hands of the clock

Would it be a sin if ‘Tick tock tick tock, changed to ‘Tick……………..Tock”…..

Haha just imagine the extra minutes in each and every day

“Mercy me” this is a very good idea for humanity, I’d say…

People could chill out instead of always rushing around

We would use our more minutes wisely, that the world had found

Perhaps you think my thoughts just a trifle spellbound?

Or maybes you are amazed at my brainwave, and in a state of astound…
