Poem -

Tim

A little cat whose name was Tim
Born a her but named a him.
She roamed the streets day and night
Would often get into a fight.

She looked for food, things to eat
Often finding scraps of meat.
She had no home, no one to love
Sleeping outside the stars above.

When winter comes she finds it hard
Often finding shelter in someone's yard.
Snow and rain so cold so damp
No hope for Tim no magic lamp.

Then one day a girl passes by
A little cat does catch her eye.
A little bit scruffy, a little bit thin
No collar, is it a her or a him?

She gingerly reaches out to Tim
Who sniffs her hand then cuddles in.
Feeling safe for the first time ever
Off they go, home together.
