Time and Space

Time and Space

Separated by time and space. So close to me and far away

I see in the pictures that familiar faceĀ

But, still though it is mine it couldn't be further away

Different circumstance, views, hopes, and dreams

These are merely a few of those separate things

Things that separate her and I

We share the same face, body, but not mind

Our hearts are so different our lives are warpedĀ

She doesn't and will not ever know the pain I hold

The hurt and disgust she feels, I now know is nothing

Compared to the self loathingĀ and disheartened life I'm living

She thinks she is alone, lost, never to be found

I vainly dream of the world she thinks is a prison. I wish for it now.Ā

I'd never wish this life on another living soul. The one I've come to walk and pass along so alone

I'd give anything to save her from becoming the person writing these words

But, alas. Our fates, however separated our moments of exsistance. Are one in the same for her smile is my broken ache
