Time To Go.

I'm trying to find some peace within, 
I'm trying to let you go, 
Would we have worked in the long run? 
I guess I'll never know! 
I'm sorry I went crazy,
You can understand my heads a mess, 
I really never expected this, 
I was hoping it was just another test!!
But now I see you've no care for me,
Because you love another, 
I will reach down deep inside of me, 
And leave you two to be together. 
With a broken heart, 
I'll go my own way, 
No longer will I pester you, 
I know that it is pointless, 
You don't care that I feel blue. 
The time we spent together,
Of course it wasn't perfect, 
But if I could turn back time & it still be the same, 
I personally think it would be worth it. 
Drinking was my demon,
I've kicked that out the way, 
A life of much to offer, 
I'm sure will come my way. 
I know you do not love me, 
But this much is true,
I will always love you,
My whole life through. 
Not only were you the love of my life, 
But also my best friend, 
It's a shame it all has to come to a complete end. 
Our giggles, our play fights, our kisses & your touch, your smile & your laughter,
Are the things I'll miss so much. 
I know I've said it many a times, 
But this is really goodbye from me, 
I cannot force somebody to want to be with me. 
You say we wasn't meant to be, 
But I fear this not true, 
I think we had a special bond, 
A connection no one else knew. 
It's the kind of bond,
That is not easy to find, 
I hand on heart believe our love was one of a kind. 
I don't know exactly when your passion burned out, 
I do not understand it but I guess there is no doubt ..
That when you make your mind up, 
Because your stubborn so, 
That it has been made up for good & it's time for me to go xxxx
