Poem -
Time to Call Time
At the very same time
the words
for a poem I may now
never write
came to me last night ..
I thought
I felt the coolness of
your palm
rest light, across the lid
of both
my tightly closed eyes ..
And in that
very same moment,
the light
shined through them ..
It was then
I realised I was blinded
and the room
filled up with patchouli
yet again ..
So I decided to discard
my prescription
Ray-Bans, and call time ..

Can I borrow those Ray-Bans Nev or better still borrow your eyes and see things through them.
For my poetry will undoubtedly improve.

You can sure borrow the shades Shaun but believe me, you wouldn't want to borrow my eyes .. I've had problems ever since I had my cataracts removed and had a series of NAAOIN episodes in my left eye about five years ago & if you will, trust me too, I am a clinical specialist by trade and there aint nowt wrong with your poetry my good manšš
I think this is exactly what's written
A moment of all consuming memory, spirit, essence, love, truth so powerfulĀ that the real world stopped and continued elsewhere. I could be wrong. I love it whatever š
